Freeview widescreen switching works fine but Sky+ does not on either my Toshiba 32WL56 or my Toshiba 48WM46 DLP set. When I first used these sets I set my Sky+ box to auto switch, which it did, but always defaulting in to the Super Live mode which I don't like. I manually switched the picture to 4:3 setting and since then the auto-switching has not worked. I have tried switching off at the mains in the hope of a reset, but it makes no difference.

    Has anyone any advice please?

I don't know much about Sky+, but if it's anything like ordinary Skydigi it will have a 16:9 option. We have our Sky box set to this, and our TV detects 4:3 transmissions and switches accordingly. Does the Sky+ box not have a 16:9 option?

Yes, it does and it is set to that. But the widescreen switching is not happening for the reason I quoted at first.
