My first post on here. After reading loads of reviews and posts on this site I have bitten the bullet and purchased a Tosh 32WL48 LCD. Got mine from buyyourav.com at £1268 including delivery and been told it is to be delivered tomorrow  . However from what I have read from this forum is that the factory ,out of the box settings, dont do the set justice. So I was wondering what settings most of you have got, mainly so I can justify to the other half why we have just spent this amount of money on a TV and not a holiday!!!! :smashin: I would really appreciate any replies.

On another note,,,,,,, what stands have most of you got? I have a pioneer VSX-C402 AV receiver and a pioneer DV-470-s DVD player as well as the usually ps2 and sky digi box. These glass stand look nice but do they show the rats nest of wires behind them? :lease:

    Start on Picture mode 2.

    Backlight: 0
    Contrast: 100
    Brightness: 45-50
    Colour: 45-50
    Tint: 0
    Sharpness: 50 (depends)
    Colour Temp: Normal
    Black Stretch: OFF
    DNR: 0

I have found these settings are good in progressive and interlaced.
