Toshiba 32" picture niggle

    Difficult to explain, but I'll try my best...


    Just taken delivery of a Toshiba 32Z23 TV. Picture is great, albeit with a very slight geometry probelm but I can live with that for now.

    Whats annoying me is the fact that when displaying certain scenes, there is an increase in the brightness of the top letterbox bar (making it look almost grey), and about an inch of the image immediately below it.

    This is most evident on fade-to-white screens: it almost looks as if there is a flourescent light running along the top of the screen just out of shot.

    Ive already used a THX Optimiser (found on the T2 dvd) to make small adjustments to the picture quality using the normal Settings Menu and the service menu - is there someway to alter any of those values to correct this problem?
