Overall I am very satisfied indeed wit the picture from the Toshiba 30WL46. However on PAL sources, i.e the built-in tuner, there is a fair amount of dot crawl next to areas of high colour.

With the sharpness set right to the bottom it can be eliminated. As the control is raised more dot crawl appears. With luminance peaking enabled and high sharpness, you get really strong dot crawl.

This TV has a digital comb filter. Shouldn't such a filter eliminate dot crawl completely? I know there are different levels of comb filter but I would have thought Toshiba wouldn't stick in the lowest of lows on this set.

Just to add to my previous post, the dot crawl is mainly seen along horizontal edges...not vertical ones.
