    Hello all,

I am in a real dilemma with the whole television choice and really don't know which way to go.

I have just bought a home cinema system with component output and I am looking for a 28 inch widescreen with a component input to receive the best picture possible. The Toshiba looks as though it fits the bill but after doing a search on this forum there seems to be a difference of opinion.

Quite a few people have complained about the buzz or hum coming from the tv whilst some people say that the picture quality isn't what it should be.

Is there anyone out there who has had positive experiences with this particular tv? Is it just that a dodgy batch of tv's were made and Toshiba tried to offload them on to unsuspecting customers?

I have had a scout around and can't for the life of me find another 28 inch tv with component input at an affordable price.

Can anyone help me out of this dilemma?

    Kind regards,

    James :p

I had to twist my girlfriends arm to let me get a 28" set. To get a 32" set could cause some unpleasantness :p

    Cheers

i agree with nai if you can afford it go for the 32"
model as it is only 61 mm wider overall than the 28" model

i owned the 28" version and it a very good tv with no
    problems (for me)

the size jump isnt too much between a 32 and 28. but the picture jump is.
the cost goes up a bit though....

plus the viewable screen isnt actaully 28. the visible screen may only be about 25. my '32' has a viewable screen of 30"
