Is there a noticable difference in these two on the big screen?

I don't need progressive scan, and on papare, the 520 looks a lot better.

    TIA

    Gary.

The HT1000 does a pretty good job without it. I've tried it with both, and it's not something I feel it realy needs.

I'm trying to find a player that gives a good picture and doesn't have issues of some form or another.

    Gary.
