I am thinking of getting the tosh 46WM48 after reading all the threads on this forum. To all who have already purchased this tv, have you also bought extended warranties to cover bulb replacements? And if so, which is the best warranty to get or is it worth paying the extra money for warranty.

    Cheers

There are a few threads on this subject, I have just purchased the set and going for a 2yr extension via Domestic & General for £180ish (if registered within first 3 months), I have an email from them confirming that the lamp is covered. As regards as to whether to get a warranty of not ...... if you use it it is worth it, if nothing goes wrong then you have wasted your money ! I am going for the warranty to give piece of mind ... £1500 for a set is a lot of money if it goes tits up after 12mths ???
