    My 36ZP48 arrived today

Fantastic sound, excellent (scart linked) picture....but

I am struggling with connecting mine via component and optical (Toslink).

I am getting sound OK but no picture at all (blue screen ), I have switched the switch at the back between P (progressive ?) or I (Interlaced ?) but still nothing. I have set to progressive output in the DVD menu system.

    Using decent (Thor) interconnects.....

What have I forgotton ?, I have misplaced the manual for the DVD player :(

    TIA

    Hi,

Have you switched from RGB to Video in your DVD Initial Setup? As far as I know, you will not output progressive if your DVD player is set to RGB.

What switch? Are you talking about your DVD player?

    Regards,

    BrianPK

Thanks, yes, switched to Videoo, all OK now , the switch is one on the back of the DVD player , I'm guessing P=Progressive
