I've recently bought a 42in Toshiba and was wondering about the static images problem. How long can you leave an still image on screen for before it burns into the screen. It doesn't say in the manual.

There is no set time for an image to burn in,

I have seen images burnt in after 167 Hours use on Cartoon network, however Contrast was 100% Brightness 50%.

This is not a Fault caused by the TV set just incorrect use.

Ive also seen this with Plasma but they take a little bit more time to Burn, Not much though!!!
