Still waiting for my Tosh RDXS34, and what I need to know is, will the Tosh control the cable box like it does with the Sky box?. I have Sky a the moment but was considering getting the Telewest supreme package for £15.50 instead of the £21 package from Sky, as its only the children who watch it. Has anyone had both systems, which is the best packages out of the two above.

The rxds34 setup includes a bit where you tell it what external decoder you're using - Sky is just one of the options.

What I don't know is how it copes with boxes that weren't around when it was put together, so there may be an issue with newer boxes.

(btw, don't use the default SP setting for timeshifting - the maximum rate is double that and the difference is considerable - as is the rate it eats disk space, of course.)
