tosh 420 a little dark

    i have a tosh 420 and the pictures appear very dark and i have to adjust the tv brightness right up is it a fault in the dvd or the scart lead etc

    I've had no problems with mine - pristine picture on my Philips 24PW6006C TV through a Philex Thor Scart Lead.

    There is a function my my 220E DVD for enhancing video and audio.

    I think it's called EPM or something like that, there is a button on the 220E remote.

    I've already asked you this on the other thread you started in DVD Talk on the same subject :rolleyes: (against the rules mate!), but are you using RGB?

    Just got my 420 lately. I havent found it dark. Are you sure your contrast levels are right ?

    Anyone find it annoying that the 420 doesnt have CD TEXT and only has 8 characters on MP3s:mad:
