Tosh 42" Setup..

    Okay, getting my Tosh 42" tomoz.. just need a bit of advice..

    How long should I leave it on for before messing around with it? whats the first thing I should do with it? any advice really!!

    Dont wanna blow it straight away :)

    Go my 42wh18b last sunday and think it's brilliant :)
    The advice seems to be to let it warm up for about an hour before playing around with convergance etc. But it's worth doing and only takes a few minutes in the user menu. Haven't got round to looking at the service menu yet (need a quiet couple of hours on my own for this I think).

    One main thing is to make sure you reduce the contrast setting as they seem to arrive on setting of 100 from factory :eek:
    Got mine on about 42. If you do a search for this model no on here you'll get loads of advice tho.

    Try a search on the forum for your model of tv and you will find plenty of comments re these subjects.
