I have just had a replacement Toshiba 26WL46 delivered from Powerhouse. The strange thing is it is slightly 'different' to the other one.

    The main differences are:

    1. Model number is 26WL46B, not 26WL46P (B) as before.

    2. The instruction manual is completely different, A4 in a bag, compared to A5 in a small white Toshiba box like the other one had.

    3. Box is printed blue rather than turquoise.

I am not bothered about any of these differences, but it is interesting that the same supplier would have two different supplies of the same item.

I am delighted with the pq of this set. The only bad thing is that the new one has one pixel stuck on red  . Has anyone else on here had this on one of these sets? Does it sort itself out?

It doesnt notice from my viewing position, but it is annoying when you know it is there! Powerhouse are happy to swap it again, but I am not sure whether it is worth the hassle.

B means British. The P means Pan-European. I have a feeling that this relates to the documentation rather than the set or the country of manufacture.

Blue is a nice colour for the box. My box was printed in turquoise but if I had the choice, I would rather have had the blue.

Re stuck pixel, it would annoy me as well on a new set. Speak to Jason or Mark at Toshiba on 0870 442 4424 - they are ever so helpful.
