Hi I have had this player since new but recently it has started suffering from dts dropout.
It did it three times with the last James Bond film and I have just bought Treasure Island and it did it three times in that as well.
Is it a problem with this player or the new crop of dts disks ?
    Dave.

PS could the laser need cleaning because the player is about three to four years old ?

It's certainly worth cleaning the laser anyway, just in case. There were problems reported with Die Another Day and dropouts on the DTS track.
