Hi all,
It's time to replace my ageing Sony 29incher with a nice and shiny RPTV.
For the last 6 months I had had my heart set on a Sony KF-42SX200, but I have been tempted by another (sorry Sony).
I am now looking at getting a Toshiba 42WH36. This looks to be great value at only £999.98 at Techtronics including the open stand Have a look here.
Although I haven't yet seen a review of this TV, by the sound of the posts on here it seems like a corker.
Is the Sony that much of a better set (At £2299 without stand it should be Look Here ), but I am a little worried that as the Tosh doesn't have the equivalent of DRC as the Sony, the picture is not going to live up to my expectations.
On looks I would say that the Sony wins, but I wont let that save be £2000 (I would have to get the Sony stand).
Any advice would be super..... (oops that sounded a little camp)
Paul.
