Hi,

A couple of questions before I get my credit card out!

1) Can you automatically pad recordings, for example 5 mins to start and finish of scheduled time. If this isn't a standard feature is there a TAP that does this?

2) Has the "jump to the end of recording" bug been fixed when recording finishes during playback?

1) With a TAP (Jags EPG is popular and includes this)
2) Reduced but not yet removed - technically it doesn't jump to the end of the recdording, rather drops to live tv.

Okay thanks.... One more question....

Can you trim or divide recordings? Can you partially erase a recording (for example removing the ads)? I can do all this on my Panny DVD recorder.

Anything I record with the Toppy that I really wanted to keep I would edit on PC using VideoReDo, but to reclaim lost/wasted space it would be handy to be able to do these operations on the PVR?

Yes, you can cut out sections and keep them (makes it easy to keep a bit and drop the rest), or cut and loose. However it's only acurate to the disk sector so you have to leave a few seconds as you can't tell exactly where the cut will be.
