    Hi all,

I am selling my beloved XPS 15 (9550) due to a decision to downgrade to the smaller XPS 13 because I travel a lot.

The computer has served me very well for all tasks, including gaming (the GTX 960 will run most games pretty well at 1080p, barring some of the very newest releases).

This particular laptop is also one of the most highly loaded versions of the XPS 15, with the following configuration:

    i7 6700HQ
    16GB DDR4 2133Mhz
    GTX 960
1TB SSD (this is truly a 1TB SSD, not the 32GB SSD + 1TB HDD configuration that some XPS 15s have)
    QHD+ 4K (3840 x 2160) Touch Screen

The laptop is the same as this one:

DELL XPS 15 15.6- Inch Laptop (Black, Silver) - (Intel Core i7 2.6 GHz, 16 GB RAM, 1TB SSD, Windows 10 Pro: Amazon.co.uk: Computers & Accessories

Strangely, it seems that Dell don't offer this configuration on their website anymore.

One important thing to mention - although the laptop is in perfect condition otherwise, and the screen is immaculate, there is slight cosmetic damage to the metal in one corner of the lid, where it has been bent a bit. You can see this in the photos. Be assured it has no impact on the performance of the laptop or the opening/closing of the lid.

I would prefer local pickup in London if possible.

    Price drop - £1350 delivered

    Price and currency: £1350
Delivery: Delivery cost is included within my country
Payment method: Paypal or Bank Transfer
    Location: London
    Advertised elsewhere?: Not advertised elsewhere
Prefer goods collected?: I prefer the goods to be collected

    Is the 16gb RAM 2X8GB or 16GB?

That's a good question and I have to admit that I don't actually know, as I've never opened up the laptop. I do know that there are 2 ram slots though from a quick google search, so my instinct would be that it has 2x8...

On the link that you provided, Amazon are selling used ones for £710.

    Any movement on your price?

That £710 is offered by a 'just launched' new seller with no details about themselves that I can see and 0 feedback so far. It's clearly not a representative price if you compare it even to the other used sellers (who weirdly are also all 'just launched' with 0 feedback)

So yes, there may be some wiggle room on the price but if you want it for £700 then you'll have to take your chances over there haha

    How old is it?
Does it have the three years on site warranty?

    Thank you

I bought it at the beginning of Feb 2016 so it's just a little less than a year old now. I'm not sure about the warranty - I bought it from the dell outlet and on the website it says that they all come with the same warranty as from the normal store?

Is the 3 - year onsite warranty normally an add-on?

All XPS models come with 1 year as standard
All Precision models come with 3 year as standard.

If you never purchased the 3 year bolt on at time of purchase -its only 1 year I'm afraid.

You can double check this by putting your serial / express service code on the dell website located here:

    Warranty Status | Dell UK

GLWS (Price is a bit... off)

    Thanks for the help.

This model was selling for £1800+ new less than a year ago but I am of course open to reasonable offers...
