Top of curtain track / cover

Hi,

As is the norm with curtains there is a fair bit of light that spills out from the top of mine.

The obvious solution is blackout blinds but in a bay window that is difficult.

Anyone come accross any solutions to this?

I was thinking that a L shape piece of plastic running alone the top screwed into the ceiling basically in an unside down reversed L configuration, like ¬ could work, but no idea where you would get something like that.

Have you looked for pelmets?

Gotta be honest their not too my taste but that's what you're describing.

Alternatively blinds behind the curtains....

I am within you on normal pelmets, they are a wee bit out fasioned looking.

I was thinking something smaller and plasic. Something with a drop of maybe an inch.

Currently binds wouldn't work since there is no room for them, although i could have a look into moving the curtain rail further into the room.
