...is anyone getting the advertised DD Digital as surround sound through their amp? I'm only getting stereo on my Pioneer amp from both my Humax boxes (hdr1000s and Foxsat HDR). Normally automatically get surround sound when watching other programmes like MOTD.

It's DD 2.0. My Onkyo uses the last mode selected for these, stereo being the initial default. Working fine on my HDR.

Thanks for that Kev. Disappointed and surprised, thought with the popularity of that program it would be a 5.1 broadcast.

All the BBC HD channels display the DD icon which just means Dolby Digital and doesn't actually distinguish between 5.1 or 2.0.
The HDR 1000/1010s does have a DD5.1 icon, but none of the broadcasters actually add the data to make use of it which would actually be quite helpful.
C4HD quite often has 5.1, but they don't even display the DD icon.
