Smaller but the Panasonic 50VT30 definitely should be considered (the 55" is >£2.2k)

Thanks for the help

I think i'm moving towards plasma...

So i noticed the samsung PSD6900 is WAY cheaper then the VT30!

I really want the WOW factor with blu ray and 3D

I can spend 1,800 tops... my old tv is only 40 inches samsung b6000 led

Never heard of them, but they take credit cards so you'd be protected. 1 year warranty only - do you really want to spend that much without an extended warranty?!

And the TV is NOT new - it says it is graded A

Personally I wouldn't touch it, but it's your cash

Its a grade A recon set, Id not spend that on one. Sound and vision cost more, but you get a new set with five year warranty and two pairs of glasses.
If you want to save a bit go for the GT30, looks better in the flesh IMO PQ wise not a huge differance, its infact slightly brighter. Some of the extra you pay for on the VT30, the extra picture controls, dont even work correctly. If 50" is too small take a look at the D8000.

No 55" GT in the UK though? 50VT30 must be in budget?

TPS have the 55VT with extras which you could sell, e.g. the BR, need to buy in store near Manchester though

TPS - www.tps.uk.com - plasma - Panasonic -

Where is the OP based?
