Nothing guilty about watching Last Action Hero - I loved it when I saw it in the cinema, and still love it now.

Not sure about guilty pleasures, I'm not ashamed to admit I love a lot of the films in that list.

Good to see Road House listed!

(Yes Patrick, it does, it's the very definition of pain)

I love Death Race and Red. Death Wish was pretty good also. Pam Grier is also unbelievably watchable 😉

Come on! Didn't you get that warm fuzzy feeling when Arnie and Stallone came face to face? It was like the Tango and Cash that never happened.

Love the list although don’t have netflix at the moment.

Vin Diesel’s ego is so big (but sadly misplaced) that it should have its own entry on the credits.

Bleeding Steel - definitely not a guilty pleasure. It’s so bad its unwatchable. Stick every genre in a a blender and see what comes out of it (with added casual racism). The movie is the celluloid equivalent of The Thing scientist/victim that gets thawed out of the ice by MacCready and co. An absolute monstrosity ad I’d rather Jackie just retire.

The definition of a favourite movie is one that you can view more than once and always watch till the end. My list would have to include: The Eagle has Landed, A Bridge too Far, Where Eagles Dare, Heat, The Bourne Identity, these movies must include a well paced story arc and characters that fit their roles, plus some well executed stunts or action sequences, themes, that later become familiar in similar genres. CGI is not a big thing with me.

Watched Last Action Hero again quite recently. Great movie and a fantastic AC/DC song and video. Fun watching all those cameos again. Top film

Conan the Barbarian is not available on Netflix... neither is Road House (though it is available free on Amazon with ads). Are there different Netflix markets?
