    Hi,

Anyone know of a tool that can do realtime or snapshot monitoring of home network useage (only really worried about bandwidth to the internet) by device?

I have a lot of devices on my home network, most are not using the internet or not on at one time, but often have 2 consoles playing games at the same time as 2 or 3 PCs using online apps apps like Facebook, youtube, browsing etc. Also Android and IOS devices that may be doing updates automatically. Sometimes downlaoding larger stuff too.

I notice that sometimes I get laggy connection even when it appears that only one PC and an iphone are being used and would just like to rule things in or out of hogging bandwidth.

I am not sure a free tool (if any exist). Are there any at all that would do what I want without having to get industry type tools?

    Thanks

There are tools that can sit on a PC and monitor it but for total use there would need to be something on the router.
