Anyone else watching this? Truly scary  I'd class myself a fan of the series from OS thru TNG/DS9/Voyager to Enterprise but these guys take appreciation to the extreme... More like uncontrollable obsession.

I've recorded it but haven't watched it yet. Assuming it's the one produced by Denise Crosby, it's from 1997 according to IMDB.

It was the show hosted by Denise Crosby plus there were interviews with DeForest Kelley and James Doohan, so that kinda dates it too, I'm pretty sure the programme had no mention of them being dead.

Must have been quite edited to fit it into an hour, as I recall it being about two.

Some of it is slightly too cringy to watch.

IMDB gives a running time of 86 minutes so, allowing for adverts as well, about half of it is missing.

There is another broadcast on Saturday (8pm SKY1) although it's unclear if it's a repeat since the EPG info is to say the least lacking, it actually says the runtime is 88minutes:)

There are also two screenings on MIX which makes me believe that they have chopped it into two parts but then again with SKY you can never be sure.

The EPG last night showed a runtime of 88 minutes as well. Strange thing is I'm sure Sky have already broadcast it in full...

great replacement viewing from sky once again - from something entirely new, to half of a program they've shown before anyway. :(

wonder what they have instore to fill Enterprise's slot, longterm. (if only it could have been season two Battlestar)

Ive got "Trekkies" on DVD as well as "Trekkies 2" which revisits some of the more "popular" charachters we see in the first one!

(can you beleive some of those guys got a fan following!! )

Its interesting to see how trek has affected peoples lives. In the 2nd one they also visit fans around the world and see that there are fans in the most remote places!

Fun to watch. First one is a classic and second one revisits and expands.
