tomtom one problem

hi there, tomtom refuses to switch on again, is charged up,
tried connecting to pc but nothing, have tried reset button also,
this happened 2 weeks before end of 12 month warranty and now
10 weeks later looks like it's happened again without warning,
what's the best thing to do with besides chucking it in the bin,
would like any advise please

My TT 300 did a similar thing and I ended up replacing it. Bizarrely it seemed to help it start if I popped out the memory card and then put it back in a couple of times and then tried restarting...

hi,

try plugging the unit into the power supply and holding the reset button for 10 seconds then turning it on.

also try removing the sd card (unless its the v3 with flash drive) and turning it on.

if this fails it may be worth digging out your reciept as most tom tom hardware now comes with a 2 year warranty.

Contact there tech support on 0845 161 0009 i am sure they will be helpfull and book it in for a repair if the reset fails.:thumbsup:
