Thank you for offering this lens. I now have a bit of a dilemma as I have also been offered off forum a 12-24mm. I was looking at the 12-24mm initially and need to do a bit of research on the 11-16mm as I'm not sure if I would be better with the longer reach. I am going to be using it mainly for landscapes.

Is this the best price you can do ?

Just thought I'd let you know that the 11-16 is truly an unbeatable lens, best crop UWA out there by a long shot. it has the extra 1mm over the 12-24, although it does miss out on 8 on the long end, but it really isn't that big a deal. You can always crop in a bit, the 11-16 is more than sharp enough. Also there's the advantage of the extra speed, and at this price it's an absolute steal, if It was a nikon version I'd probably take it if you hadn't.

Will you allow me a little bit of time to research this lens ? The 12-24mm has been offered at £60 less that this lens. Cost is always an issue unfortunately.
Do you have any pictures of the actual lens ?

Thank you Mike for the lens offer but I have taken the plunge and bought the !2-24mm. I feel I would have been limited by the short focal range although I would have liked the advantage of the f2.8 aperture. I think I will get better use out of the 12-24mm lens. I hope I've made the right decision !

No problem. I was a little reluctant to put the 11-16 up here as I do like the lens a lot, it is my favourite, especially for indoor shots. However I do not use it much since I purchased a Fuji X100.

The 12-24 is a great lens :smashin:
