On the AV button om my TV remote you have to toggle through 5 different ones, same for the Aspect ratio.

Is it possible to limit this number or at least toggle in two directions on the Philips Pronto.

    i.e just have AV1 & AV2 or WS, 4:3 & zoom.

    TIA

Unless your TV has discrete codes for these modes then no.

My Sony TV just has one button for the aspect ratio. So I have to cycle through all the modes to get the one I want.

Best thing to do is set up a button that changes through the cycle to the ratio (or AV input) you want - remember and leave a few seconds delay between commands to make sure they take (my Sony is bad at missing commands for the ratio!).
