To Repair or Replace - Samsung QE49Q7C.

Hi All,

It's my first post and appolgoies in advance if this question has been asked before.

Our little one has recently cracked the screen of our Samsung QE49Q7C as illustrated below with a toy plastic hammer 😭😭 & I'm sure he only tapped it once but he must have hit the sweet spot oddly.

As you can see the screen appears to be dinted / cracked.

It took a while to accept and I'm still kicking myself for not taking up John Lewis offer of their insurance policy at the time of purchase (hindsight sucks),

I think I already know the answer but just wanted to gauge everyones thoughts on if its repariable or would the costs superseed the value oid TV Vs picking up a new similar TV. With it being Cyberweek the Samsung Neo QLED (QE50QN94AATXXU) seems a steel at £999 but I'm in two minds should I cut my losses and opt for a new TV.
