    Hi all,

I would like to buy a KRP-500A (with speakers and pedestal): price here in Italy it's very high (not less than 3700 Euro) and I found very interesting UK prices (near 3000 Euro including delivery's cost).

At the moment I found only one store (leconcepts) with international delivery and good price: can you indicate me some other good and reliable UK store?

    Thanks in advance

Buy from either LE Concepts or TLC Broadcast - they are both very reputable companies.

    Cheers,

    Martin.

Thanks for your responses, I will try to compare LEConcepts and TLCBroadcast prices: I am only scared about to buy a TV from a so distant store.

    Thanks again

Bought mine from TLC Broadcast. Was delivered to Spain without any problems. :)

Don't wish to spoil experience for you but read the thread on the experiences of people buying this set at the moment. Wouldn't wish problems for you if you are buying at distance.

Other than the power supply problem mentioned by one individual today could you please be more specific. I know of at least 5 people who bought the 500A and had no problems at all with their TV's.

I'm not trying to rain on anyones parade but buying from Italy if there is a fault isn't as easy as buying here. Read the experience of the guy that did buy and it isn't very good after paying for such an expensive set.
Spending that kind of money I would be inclined to be looking somewhere local to purchase.
Just my opinion, for what it's worth.
    George.

I agree with you, georgepomone, but in Italy prices are very high if compared to UK (700 Euro savings, near 631 GBP).

I am scared about to buy not a damaged plasma but a plasma with some defect (dead pixel for example) and about problems with european warranty.

In few words: I am confused

Sorry to take so long to reply. Was at work. Of course the best is Pioneer. I don't have any fear saying that. It's just that buying at a distance brings it's own problems. If you buy and have no problems with the set it's great no matter which set you go for. I have a Panasonic because thats the one I can afford. If I had the money I would have a Pioneer.
All I'm saying is if I bought the set in Italy it would be more difficult to get serviced because I'm in the UK. Meaning read up and then you know the risk. With the savings I think it's maybe worthwhile as long as you have in mind what could happen. Whatever you decide I wish you all luck with your purchase. With everything said it is a great set.
    Good Wishes,
    George.:smashin:
