I am planning on having a go at making one of the X-1.5 interconnects.

    Top picture here:

    The instructions are here:

under the title "It is Number two - look how twisted he is"

Can anyone help me understand how the termination is done on the phonos?

The construction method is to wind 2 x 6 Wirewrap at 45 deg offsets and overlap them at 90 deg along the length of the underlying dialetric cable (ripped from a CT100 type Sat/Coax cable).
"I use three pieces each in black and in red (for hot) and another six pieces in white (later cold). "

Is the inference that one sextet (3 blk + 3 red) is postive for the centre of the phono and the other (6 x wht) is ground? Or do all 12 wirewrap cables get stuffed on the centre of the phone with no ground/earth?

    /me confused.

    :smashin:
    Thanks
