I have some programmes recorded on my Thomson Tivo and I'd like to transfer then to DVD. I have a DVD recorder attached to my PC, but no standalone DVD recorder.

What's the easiest way of transfering these programmes?

    Any advice appreciated. :D

Thanks for your reply. It all looks massively more complicated than I thought, so I might just copy the stuff I want to VHS.

    1) If you have a TV card in your PC you could cnnect it to TiVo and just press record using the TV capture software you got with the TV card. This would not be ideal as you would get quality loss, but would be better than VHS.

    OR

    2) You can always pay someone to install and configure everything for you on your TiVo.

There are many other essential hacks -softpadding, TiVoweb, improved picture quality, more padding options, guide data checking, undelete, etc..

Get these installed at the same time.
