    I noticed doing a search, That someone mentioned you can buy bigger HD`s that are already fomatted and setup to fit in the Tivo.

    Anyone know where from ?

    It's so easy to do it yourself and you get to save £50!

    If you've a PC of course!

    Plus you can keep all your wish lists and recordings!

    They are also available via eBay. A regular poster on the tivo community forums 6022Tivo (not me and no connection, BTW) is a respected vendor.

    All the info you need to do the upgrade yourself can be found on that forum - and, yes, if you have a PC it really is pretty easy. I've done both my TiVo's now, with no problems.

    I did my upgrade myself and found it very easy. The only difficaulty I found was getting a PC with FAT32 HDD to perform the upgrade as I have WinXP with NTFS and you can not do the upgrade with that :lesson: . If you know your way around the inside of a PC then I would also suggest giving it a go.
