tiscali broadband and PS2 online

    I'm confused with all this technical stuff i need help so much. i have tiscali broadband and i want to go online with my PS2 I have the network adapter and a ADSL 4 port router. can some one help me please

    Best advice if you have got that far is to ignore any errors from Central Station on the network setup program. I've got Twister Metal Black which works fine, but Central Station does not work - a known fault by Sony.

    As for configuring, assuming the broadband connection and router work OK with a PC, setup the PS2 either with a static IP address or use DHCP with a permanent lease. This will allow you to easily setup port mapping, if required from internet to PS2 that will be specific to each game - its normally in the instructions or on the internet - likewise any firewall specific options. How to set this up in the router is router specific.
