I've just started making DVD-R recordings on my Panasonic
DMR-E100. It sounds fine on my Panasonic DMR-E100. However when I play it back on my Playstation 2 the sound is tinny, like the actors are speaking through a sheet of tin foil.

I recorded the shows from Sky Digital using Thor scart cables. I recorded the shows to the hard drive at XP quality and transferred at high speed to Panasonic DVD-R discs. I recorded the shows using the Panasonic Dolby Digital sound settings.

Does anyone here know whats wrong?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
