Timing specifications for Pioneer PDP-LX508 on C2 3800?

Does anyone have a set of timing specifications to use on the C2 3800 for the Pioneer PDP-LX508 1080 plasma?

When using the built-in 1080p timings I get a lot of 'shimmering'/flickering especially on the 'horizontal line 50' test pattern, also the text pattern on 'Pixel Perfect' does not look as clear as on my old 505XDE screen that I used custom timings to achieve 1:1 mapping with VGA output. This is what I'm using as a basis for knowing that the std 1080p settings on my 3800 aren't right for the LX508, the test patterns via HDMI are nowhere near as clear as the custom timings on my old screen when connected via analogue VGA.

Alex,

I am about to buy the same TV. You do not appear to have had a reply to your question which is disappointing. Perhaps your problem has been resolved?

Anyway I would like to learn of your additional experience opinion of the PDP-LX508D
