Question Time to upgrade x4100W?

I currently have the Denon X4100W in a 5.1 configuration. I have AV123 Rockets and a 12" SVS sub.. I recently upgraded to a Sony 950 4K TV and thought it might be time to upgrade the receiver. I saw the X4500h is on sale at Frys and it looks like a pretty good deal with the extra 20% off they have been offering. Most of our use is for TV and Movies (DirectTv and Apple TV). Just looking for opinions if it is a good time to upgrade or since the 4100 seems to be working fine just hold off for another year or two. Would we notice a noticeable improvement in any area or just minor improvements? I like the Airplay 2 and Alexa features but not a huge benefit. I seem to be having a little buyers remorse before I even buy it.

Your benefit would come in what has been added to the 4500 over the 4100, Dolby Vision being one and various bit and pieces. You have more processing power, 11 channels as opposed to 9. Better processing in AL32 opposed to AL24. Power is exactly the same.

Audio wise it would probably sound the same. Unless you want the extra 4K support it would be more of a sideways move than an upgrade. I'm still running my X6200 even though I'm thinking of upgrading to 4K TV and the 6200 is going to stay because it is so good. So my advice is to stick with what you have unless you have an acute attack of upgradiatus.

Thanks for the reply. I thought I was going to have to upgrade to a X6.... series to see any significant difference. I will probably wait a couple years to upgrade unless I catch the bug and just can’t help myself.
