Time to replace my Yamaha RX-V673?

Looking for a bit of help please before working out whether I need to spend to replace this amp.

Currently have PS5, Xbox Series X, Apple TV and Virgin box connected direct to a LG CX TV, with optical out then back to my Yamaha amp. Everything has been working fine for months but in the last week or so, I get no sound (or at least very glitchy, intermittent sound coupled with pops and crackles through the speakers) just for the first 5 minutes or so from switching on, regardless of which source I am using. Once the amp has been on for a few minutes, audio works (or appears to at least) flawlessly?

Can optical inputs behave like this is something is on the way out?

Seems to be a regular occurrence given the age of it, see this from a couple of months or so ago:-

Mine is still OK but It's only a matter of time before it joins the club.

Thanks for the link - I should have searched first ;)

Thread describes exactly what mine is doing - ah well, I wanted an excuse for a new one anyway :p
