Time to buy - HS20 or Z9000

    The 12HT could be an option, but I cant find one to demo.

    So, is the Z9000 better or same or worse than the HS20, esp. as they are different technologies ?

    Price - ignore that. Just the quality of the picture and how they handle blacks is most important to me.

    Nexnix can do the z9000 for 3055, or HS20 is 2100. Id pay the extra for the z9000 if it's that good (although pricejapan may be an option - but how is the warranty handled ?)

    Can't comment on those specific models (though I've heard they are all very good!) but the warranty situation with Price Japan is that you have to pay for the Pj to be shipped back to Japan if anything goes belly up, which I believe can cost a few hundred quid! :eek:
