Average. Not really a purchase IMO. Although for Samantha Mumba.....
cheers will pass then
I found it was a movie that started off with potential and quickly fell from the tree of mediocrity, being slapped hard by every branch on the way down.
Bit crap then?
The new one, or the one just out on DVD?
There is some chat on the Movies and TV forum on it under 'Time Machine... is it worth seeing? '
Also Timh has promised a review of the original film on DVD, soon.
I concur with the right honorable gentlemen above - started out ok but very quickly descended into a poofest that (depending on your taste of course) probably wouldn't warrant a purchase.
I found it very disappointing..but that's just me!
I'm gonna go with what lynx said, the film did start off with potential, but then it started to go down hill
Not a very good film really but I guess it's worth a watch
I had this on order but have since cancelled it. I'll try and catch it on rental though. Two of my friends saw it at the cinema on a free pass... one hated it, one thought it was average (although, oddly, also singled out Miss Mumba for praise. Her acting must have been very polished).
Have you tried the book?
"Have you tried the book?"
I hear the R1 paperback has a slightly thicker cover and more detailed foreword than the R2 version
Ah but what you want is the R2 hard cover. No censorship what so ever.
"R2 hard cover. No censorship what so ever."
That must be the Japanese R2 rather than the UK one then
Yes, thats the one.
If you are getting it watch out for the 4th printing, as they had some trouble in its pressing, and you can have problems half way through on one of the chapter changes.
