Very pretty indeed David - the F1s look far nicer in the flesh though like an oil painting is not done justice through a camera lens, I can vouch, as you will agree with that statement I believe ;-)

...I will wait until I have my Monitor Audio PL200 in before taking some snaps!

    Thanks Paul

I got a new phone so took some pics

Do look better in the flesh as you said

    Hopefully the value will hold

I haven't seen a pair anywhere for sale for ages

I can not only vouch for David's setup being beautiful and neat but can also say that I have touched and listened to his F1s. I was privileged for being invited by David to listen to F1s when I was in Melbourne recently and it really was a treat. I always wanted to hear the F1s before buying a set so I was very happy to hear them and see his beautiful setup.

The only problem is that I had my wife with me during the visit and since then I keep hearing "why can't you arrange the cables neatly and make it beautiful like David did?".

Well, when you finally decide to sell them.. Lol
I would personally travel from UK to Melbourne and box them up and escort them back to England!

Nice set up anyway, I think the F1's are probably rarer than gold as I have not seen any listed last few years especially here in UK, so should hold good value but guessing all the F1 owners such as yourself are wise old sages that realize these are rare bit's of kit that you see manufacturers only produce once in a blue moon, has the Hi-Fi world seen anything quite like this that looks as good as well as sounds like it looks?!

How much does each one of these F1 speakers weigh anyway?

May you enjoy them for a long time to come until I come over and buy them off you!

Thanks Karlknurr, I am crying now, good job they are in Blue as my ideal color is the silver or grey finishes they done. Still, for two pairs plus the centre is probably rarer coming up in one hit than just a pair on it's own. Someone will be happy if they have enough magic beans for them although I think there is quite a bit of room there for negotiating the final figure.

    Hi Fortisflyer

They weigh about 65 kilos each

Yes you are right they don't come up for sale often now

I bought these a couple of years ago

I am told there is only two pairs in Australia and I wasn't really in a position to buy them
when they came up for sale

But I thought I may not get the chance later

Exchange rate, freight, duty ,risk ect make it not a ideal thing to buy internationally

    Enjoying them though

    David

Was looking for where this 4k is going to buy something future proof, but maybe its better to buy just a fullhd 65" for now?

The F1s look great but is the vertical curve actually necessary technically or is it just a fashion statement?

It is technical based. I put some files in the attachment.
