I am getting my home cinema sorted out slowly but surely.

I am looking to buy a new dvd player and I don't really have a clue what will be the best one for what I need.

I currently have a sony RPTV which is not prog scan and I have just bought a cheap projector to get started with this does only have video out, s-video and computer link up. This will be upgraded shortly when finances allow to a hitachi tx100 or similar.

would you recommend that I buy something like the Pioneer dv565 from richer sounds for £160 or spend the money on a second hand player like the dv737? which although is older looks like a much higher quality of player?

If there is any other options that you can recommend, any help is appreciated.

    thanks :zonked:
