I just checked Timhs list and there are 42 members of avforums that already own the this PJ and 10 that have it ordered. I wonder do we need our own dedicated forum at this site or if thats even possible. What does everyone else think?

Wow - I'm surprised. You're not getting your own forum, though. :)

Why do you need your own forum?, just because I own a Sony Im still interested to hear the experiences of other people with their various projectors.

Maybe if people always put AE100 in the subject header then the people who dont want to read about it can just skip those threads.

    Just my 10 pence.

Maybe it's time for a little amalgamation of threads ;-)

There is a dedicated AE-100 forum spawned from AVSforum on Yahoo. However, since our US cousins are, for once, far behind. this is currently of limited value. (Still interesting tho')

As Tim suggested B4, why doesn't someone create an "owners" club type thing.

Your site looks OK Keith, maybe you'll give it a go when you get your AE-100:D

It could be a useful source of information for new owners, & prospective buyers, & maybe links could be given here & at AVS

The AE100 is the current favourite but every few months this changes. We have been through Sony, Toshiba, Sanyo, Hitachi, Sony, Panny in recent months! No separate forum, it just isn't needed.

I have been following the projector threads for nearly 2 years now, thats how long I was looking for my first projector, in that time we have had some projectors that have sporned an interest, for example, the Toshiba MT1, MT3, Sanyo PLV-30 Sony VPl-10, CX1, there seams to have been several owners of each of these projectors, but NEVER have I seen the total owners come anywhere near the 42 owners of the AE100. So I would agree with Calibos (AE100 owner come Monday) I think it would be good for a Ae100 forum, for regulers and newbies to this amazing projector at such a small price :D
