Anyone know of any gun that might work on a 100hz tv?

We just bought TC2 with the new G-CON2 gun and found that it wont work with our 50hz widescreen tv. we took it back and it worked fine in the shop on there 4:3. The guy in the shop suggested switching our widescreen to 4:3 mode. Anyone had this problem and whats the fix??
    Cheers

    Hmmmm... Interesting...

I too have just bought TC2 and a new GCON2 gun.... I also have an old GCON v1...

My TV is a new Sony 32inch Flat Widescreen job.. I think its 100Hz...

TC2 works fine with the new GCon2... but not the old GCon1....

But the old GCon works fine on the same TV whilst playing the original TC game for PS1...

Not sure if that adds any to the story... but thought I would post anyway! :)

What is your tv model number? On the G-Con 1 thing sounds like a case for X-Files.
Wish I had tried the 4:3 thing. Did try changing the 100hz around (normal, digital plus, advanced) no difference.
