Whenever I buy a new blank mini DV tape I now make a blank recording in order to establish the time code for the tape. However, before I discovered the benefits of doing this I used a small number of tapes in a less structured way. Consequently I have tapes which have a dozen or more zero points on them. Is there any way of re-establishing the time codes without running them through a magnetic cleaner?
