Tilting a Toshiba

    I need to move my Toshiba rear projection to an upstairs room, the problem is I will need to tilt the TV to get it up the stairs and under the landing. Does anyone know if this will cause any damage to the TV? I wonder as when it was delivered the people doing so, said it shouldn't be tipped! Any Help always greatfully recieved. :confused:

    I'm sure that the best advice is to keep it vertical at all times, but I also know that I transported my RP Toshiba several miles in the back of my car laying flat without even disturbing the convergence so it is not necessarily a problem.

    I guess that avoiding physical shock to the set is the most important thing rather than just orientation.

    yip, mine was carried on its side up the stairs. Its fine.
