    Hi

I am a big fan of the Tiger Woods golf games having owned 2003 and 2004. I was pretty keen to see Tiger Woods 2005 given that the review on the EA website was raving about the Live capabilities. When it was released i trundled down to Game to buy it to find that it isn't online enabled in the UK

Does anybody know if there are plans to release this game on Live in the UK or is it another one where us brits get palmed off with second rate material flogged to us at a ridiculous price?

    cheers

No plans for live support. Just pick up a copy of Links 2004 which not only is a far, far better golf game but also has pretty good xbox live support.

It takes a bit of getting used to over Tiger Woods, but when you get used to it, it is a great and much better game :)

Control is fairly similar to TW, left analog stick controls swing, right controls the draw/fade + spin. The major difference is that Links is more of a sim-type game, imagine the difference between Pro Evo 4 and Fifa 2005 but with golf instead of football.

    oh and [IMG] to Nero

Its a EA game so Live wouldnt work properly anyway. Just get links a very enjoyable game. Also there is Outlaw golf 2 (under £20) that has full Live support But from the demo i played the gameplay wasnt much cop.
