    Hi all,

Can anybody help me with what is hopefully an easy answered question about iTunes and the iPod.

I've got a bigger music library than my iPod, so in my library I "untick" all the songs that I don't want synched across to my iPod when I connect it.

However, when I do a shuffle play (or Party Play) in my iTunes on the computer it misses out the unticked songs.

Is there any way to stop it doing that?

    Thanks! :smashin:

Set itunes to manual synch where you drag n drop to ipod and all items in itunes will set to shuffle as they are all ticked.:smashin:

Think so mate as your library is bigger than your iPod capacity , just one of those things.

You could , depending on how many times you synch your iPod, check them all and play shuffle then uncheck when you attach the iPod. Cant see any other way around it.

Anyways manual synch is far better imho as it doesnt go thro the whole synch thing everytime you attach the iPod. Try it mate you may well like it :D

I have 1 itunes library and 4 iPods share this library, i manually synch all of them which means just drag and drop onto the iPod, saves all that checking unchecking rubbish.

Just delete off the pod what you dont want and drag what you do to the iPod icon when connected simple really:smashin:

Connect the iPod , the first screen that appears has it there "manually manage music and videos" check the box and your now driving a manual not an auto !!!:D

You can then drag and drop music to your little hearts content !!!
