You'll need a very long throw lens for that application, I'm not sure I've ever seen one that long, certainly in the price-range you're looking at.

If you look through a list of projectors you can use ProjectorCentral's throw distance calculator to see what it's limits are.

You'll need a throw ratio of 3 : 1 then, the Sim2 Domino 18 and Domino 20H would be suitable.

    Best Regards,

    Stan.

Not sure what you're asking. :)

Are you asking what 3:1 means, how throw distance is determined, or something else?

    Cyberheater,

Throw ratio = Distance between screen and projector lens : screen width.

    In this case it's 6 : 2 which is the same as 3 : 1.

    Best Regards,

    Stan.

Out of interest, are you supposed to measure from centre of screen to centre of lens?

Generally yes, but remember that most (all?) projectors provide some amount of 'zoom' so you have some leeway how far back or forward you can locate the projector.

    pinky3003,

consider the Domino 18 also as it is £700 less than the 20H at £2299.
