I had it earlier while I was in Kingston (Surrey):

But now I'm home, I'm back on 3G.

Yup, I've got it as well. Had to manually search for it though on my LG Flex. Getting around 25Mbps so far.

    • Tap the Menu key and then tap Settings.
    • Tap Connections then tap More networks.
    • Tap on Mobile networks.
    • Tap on Network Mode.
    • Choose between 2G/3G auto or 2G/3G/4G auto.
    hope that helps :smashin:

Working in Brum tomorrow and Central London on Friday so hoping to see the 4G on my iPhone,.. Have a lot of data to stream back tothe office, and it sure would help if they have switched it over. Have 2 changes 1 on Contract and one on PAYG so hopefully at least one of them will be done (Fingers etc crossed)

Me and the Mrs both have a iPhone 5, sat next to each other , she is getting 4G but I am only getting 3G. I have selected enable 4G in settings , toggled it but still no 4g. Is there meant to be an over the air network settings update to enable it that maybe my phone hasn't had yet I wonder.

    Interesting.

I'm in Laleham (not that far from Feltham (a 20 minute drive I guess), but I get no 4G here.

So people are getting 4G without a Sim update from Three?
How many of you don't get 4G at your billing address but do so elsewhere?

I didn't get the alleged text message on Monday that people were talking about, I just happened to look at my phone while I was in Kingston and noticed the 4G symbol.

I did get a Carrier Update from 3 in December if that helps.

I don't get 4G at my home/billing address yet either.

Nothing for me today in Centre of Birmingham, still good ol 3G. managed 7Mbs down and 3 Mbs up so not to bad but did have nearly a Gig of data to punt back to the office! Hopefully the activations will swing up a gear now.

Ok I haven't had a carrier update yet. Do you live in a Three 4G enabled area?

Well I work in Kingston and no 4G for me there at all, no carrier update and 4G is turned on in settings.
I have tried toggling this on & off and also turning phone on & off, still no 4G :thumbsdow

Sounds like your account hasn't been activated/enabled for 4G yet.

Just spent 40 mins on the phone to their Indian call centre:mad: that's 40 mins of my life I will never get back.
They are probably the worst call centre I have had to talk to, lie after lie after lie - He had no idea what he was talking about.
Eg Apple have to update software for 4G to work on my phone
Three will have 4G across whole of UK by end 2014
Did not ask me what part of the country I was in
4G is still in Trial period, and on and on
Rant over, will just wait and see what happens, chill Bob chill
