Thor scart upgrade?

:hiya:
I have a Thor scart at the moment.Would i notice an improvement if i upgraded to say a QED or Ixos.etc. It would be used for Sky+ to Panasonic Plasma(PE50)

Any advice or recommendations would be appreciated. :)
