    Hey guys,
Just received my Thomson dhd 4000 today all was going well until.. I could not scroll past the 'now and next' channel list in the TV guide rendering it atm useless. One of the major strong points I felt with it when I purchased it was that it boasted a 7day EPG, which I am still yet to see, any help please?

Yes - the 7 day EPG takes a couple of days to populate for the first time ... this is quite normal and once it does update then you'll love it.

The 4000 is a bit annoying until it gets its first software upgrade. Mine lost all channels and had to retune every time the power was turned back on.

After the first overnight update (~3 am) it had the latest software v1.77.
After the 2nd night it had the full epg.

Just make sure it is left in standby overnight. It's a really excellent machine once updated.
Theres a huge thread on this recorder on digital spy forums.
